After weeks of rumours that they are dating, Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall has seemingly confirmed he’s dating his co-star, Tisha Merry, posting a cute snap on Instagram.

Alan, who split from his wife Lucy-Jo Hudson last year, shared a loved-up snap alongside Tisha as the pair attended a wedding over the Bank Holiday weekend. Alongside the snap, Alan wrote, ‘Congratulations Mr & Mrs Aston. What a wonderful day, we’re so proud to be part of it 💖’. sic

Fans of the pair were quick to comment on the photo, admitting how good they look together. One user wrote, ‘Lovely photo Alan.. Tisha is gorgeous so happy for both of you x’, with Corrie actress Samia Longchambon adding, ‘🤗❤️😘’. sic

Another then added, ‘Gorgeous both of you 😘🥰💕’. sic

Coronation Street fans will remember Tisha as Steph Britton. During her time on the Cobbles she had a turbulent relationship with Andy Carver, she left for Portugal after she believed her boyfriend broke up with her and her brother Luke was murdered by Pat Phelan.

Meanwhile, after meeting his ex-wife Lucy-Jo back in 2002, the pair married in 2009 and then welcomed a baby girl called Sienna in 2013.

In 2018, the couple announced they’d split, with Lucy telling fans,"I can confirm Al and I are in the process of divorcing. We remain friends and devoted Mummy and Daddy to our daughter Sienna."
